Albania’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) appealed to the passengers not to purchase airline tickets from airlines, tour operators or websites, as there is no date set when the flights from/to Tirana airport will resume.
CAA says the resumption of the flights depends on the global situation of the coronavirus pandemic.
Passengers are urged to check the official announcements regarding the resumption of the flight.
The government, through the country’s flag carrier Air Albania, will operate repatriation flights from various European countries in the coming days.
Albanian citizens who are stuck elsewhere should reach to the government portal or contact embassies or consulates in the countries they are at the moment.
