Flights from Tirana to Perugia will resume on June 18, 2020.

Domestic and European connections are returning to Perugia’s “San Francesco di Assisi” airport.  The first flight from Tirana, Albania after the complete shutdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic, resumes on June 18. Days after, on July 4, 2020 flights to Rotterdam in the Netherlands, will start operating, Turismo Italia News reports.

In addition to the flights already announced to and from Catania, London and Brussels, the two weekly flights from Albania have been confirmed and will be operated every Thursday and Sunday.

From July 21, a third weekly flight from Tirana will be added every Tuesday, operated by Albawings in partnership with Blue Panorama.

The Umbrian airport joins other 24 Italian airports to resume work.

“The airport has implemented the new rules of social distancing and disinfects the spaces often. We are ready to welcome passengers and airlines,” says Sase, the airport’s management company.
