Hilton announces the signing of a management agreement to open Hilton Tirana. at the same time, the first details are out. It will be a brand-new 174 room property in the heart of the Albanian capital. The hotel belongs to Kastrati Residences. The hotel will open towards the end of 2023 and will be Albania’s first Hilton Hotels & Resorts property.
Influenced by a Mediterranean seasonal climate, Tirana is one of the sunniest cities in Europe. As such, it boasts an abundance of entertainment, arts, music and food. Its proud historic monuments contrast with modern buildings and stunning mountain scenery. Tirana’s central location and modern transportation links also make it the most important economic and political hub in Albania.
The hotel will be situated a short walk from Tirana’s top tourist attractions, including the Et’hem Bey Mosque and Skanderbeg Monument. Meanwhile, business travelers will enjoy convenient access to the nearby government buildings and financial centre. They will also enjoy transport links to Tirana train station and Tirana International Airport – both within a 30 minute drive.
The hotel will have 174 guest rooms, including 18 suites, as well as an executive lounge and extensive meetings and events space. In addition to a spacious spa, indoor pool and fitness centre, its rooftop, designed to blend closely with the surroundings, will boast a stunning pool and lounge with breath-taking views of the mountains and parkland.

At the moment, Tirana has a Hilton Garden Inn hotel, which is part of the Hilton portfolio.
The hotel offers 141 guest rooms and two suites. It overlooks the Dajti Mountain, the nearby hills and River Lana. The hotel is just 20 minutes from the airport and five minutes from the city center and the business district.
The hotel offers local and international cuisine in the Garden Grille & Bar restaurant. The lounge is suitable for after-work cocktails, and The Shop is always open for snacks and travel items.
