The country’s flag carrier Air Serbia will resume flights on May 18, as they were suspended in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

A limited number of flights from Belgrade to London, Zurich, Frankfurt and Vienna will be operated at first, DPA news agency reports.

“Many rules in many countries are currently restricting travel, but as restrictions are being lifted, we intend to allow flights for our passengers. Our team carefully monitors all decisions and will regularly inform passengers about the status of their reservations”, Air Serbia Chief Executive Officer, Duncan Naysmith said.

“Some of the high-demand destinations will be operated regularly, some will be reduced and some others will be temporarily suspended,” Naysmith added.

Air Serbia will also operate flights to Podgorica, Zurich, Vienna, Paris, Tirana, Zagreb, Skopje, Bucharest, London, Sarajevo, Sofia, Frankfurt, Brussels, Kiev, Krasnodar, Zadar and Nice.
