Hilton becomes the one and only international hotel chain in Albania, after the opening of a Garden Inn property in the country’s capital.

The announcement was made in January and the Hilton Garden Inn is now bookable.

Hilton Garden Inn Tirana will have 141 guestrooms and two suites.

The property explained by Hilton Garden Inn:

Overlooking Dajti Mountain, the nearby hills and River Lana, the hotel is just 20 minutes from the airport and five minutes from the city center and the business district.

The hotel offers local and international cuisine in the Garden Grille & Bar restaurant, the  lounge is suitable for after-work cocktails, and The Shop is always open for snacks and travel items.

There is a fitness center, complimentary laundromats for the guests, a 24/7 business center and six meeting spaces for work and social events of up to 500 guests.

Hilton announced the opening of its first property in Albania in January, not long after Marriott and Starwood abruptly closed the Sheraton, the group’s only hotel in Albania.
