Starting from June, 17, 2024 Kuwaiti low-cost airline, Jazeera Airways will fly directly every Monday and Thursday to Tirana.
The service is Jazeera Airways’ first to Albania, as well as the sole nonstop flight linking the Balkans country with Kuwait. It is also Tirana’s seventh route to the Middle East, alongside flights offered by flydubai, Flynas, Israir, Wizz Air and Wizz Air Abu Dhabi.
Tirana, the Albanian capital is also the country’s largest city. Known for its colorful architecture, it extends at the Plain of Tirana in the centre of Albania between a mountain in the east, hills in the south, and a valley to the north overlooking the Adriatic Sea.
Tirana is a city where tradition meets modernity and colorful buildings dot the cityscape. What would you want to do first on your Albanian adventure? That is how Jazeera Airways invited travelers to visit Tirana last year, when the route opened.
Jazeera Airways was founded in April 2004 as the Middle East’s first fully private airline based in Kuwait. From its first flight in 2005, Jazeera Airways has grown to serve 64 destinations in the Middle East, Central and South Asia, Europe, and Africa.
The airline plans to serve more than 100 destinations in the next five years, so expect more chances to see a Jazeera Airways livery in your sky.
