Tourism in Albania recorded a sharp rise in visitors and overnight stays in July 2025, according to the latest data published by INSTAT. Compared to the same month last year, the sector performed strongly, particularly along coastal areas and among foreign visitors.
INSTAT reported a 34.6% increase in visitors to accommodation facilities during July. The number of non-resident (foreign) visitors jumped by 45.3%, while resident (domestic) visitors grew by 11.2%. Overnight stays also rose by 33.5%.
The biggest surge came from coastal areas, where foreign visitor numbers increased by 50.3%. Hotels and similar establishments saw a 41.1% rise compared to July 2024.
Visitors from Kosovo led with 21%, followed by Poland (11%), Italy (10%), Germany (7%), France (6%),and other countries (45%).
Room occupancy in accommodation facilities reached 52.9%, up from 49.3% a year earlier, reflecting a more successful summer season and stronger demand.
These figures confirm Albania’s upward tourism trend, reinforcing the country’s position as a growing destination for both international and domestic travelers.
