Lufthansa Miles&More made significant changes to its award charts this year by abolishing them for the group’s core airlines, creating some great mileage award opportunities.

As of June 2025, the mileage amounts required to book an Award Flight with Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa, Lufthansa City and SWISS are calculated individually for each flight – according to the selected fare, travel class, route and time of travel and booking. Just as you’re used to when booking flights with these airlines. This means you’ll often find very attractive offers for flights to destinations worldwide.

“Now we’re adding to the list of airlines offering Award Flight bookings for flexible mileage amounts. From March 3, 2026, the mileage amounts required to book Award Flights with Discover Airlines and Air Dolomiti will also be calculated individually for each flight”, Miles ad More says in a statement.

The current Award Flight chart will continue to apply for Discover Airlines and Air Dolomiti until the change takes effect on March 3, 2026.
